The Jersey shore, 1947. A day trip with mom, aunt & cousin b/c that was all we could afford. I was six.
The adults knew about salt water taffy & bought some to take home as a souvenir. It was Fralinger's.
My local grocery has a display of salt water taffy but only a cheap imitation. The sight sparked my memory & I ordered a shipment. Yup, just as this little girl remembered.
A delicious assortment of classic salt waste taffy. Super fresh and soft. It worked out perfectly for a boardwalk themed party.
Reminds me of my days on the Jersey boardwalk. All very fresh and addictive!
