I was born and raised in NJ. I love molasses and have always bought the molasses paddles when going "down the shore". The taffy is also a favorite. These were a sweet memory for me now that i live in TN.
To growing up with summer days “down the shore.” Same satisfaction 70 years later.
Still the same great candy from my childhood—and, remarkably, very close to, if not the actual, size they were 50 years ago! Far more expensive,of course; definitely a special treat. Happy that they lived up to the nostalgia I have for them.
